Who am I?

Hey Matthew,
I really enjoyed watching your video. the background music really made it sound like a real you tube video instead of a project for this class. I had no idea that you played the viola so that is really interesting.
some of the editing tricks were really neat like how you would spin your chair and change your clothes. hard to believe that you found music through karaoke! I actually think I watched the production of Les Mis you were in with my high school which is weird but at the same time kinda cool like a backstories intertwining. I think that I'd have to agree with you on your Free styling skills :)
Thanks for the laughs,

Hey Nathan!
I’m glad that you enjoyed knowing a bit more about myself and my musical background. Not sure if I remember your school coming to one of the school matinees for Les Mis, but that’s so cool to know that you were there!
I enjoyed learning about you and your musical background. Your video had a very professional-like style which caught my attention! (Your looked very sharp in that suit!) I must say that I’m impressed about how you learned to play the trumpet when you were 2-years-old! I’m curious as to how you progressively became the trumpet player you are today; was there anything (or anyone) that inspired you or helped you improve your overall technique on the trumpet?
You also mentioned that you were a part of the Salvation Army. It seems that you have many fond memories that helped form your musical identity as a musician! How long have you been involved in the Salvation Army? Your video of singing in the Territorial Music School seems to show your level of musicianship! (It sounded greats well!)
The reason you gave for taking this class really struck out for me. I can see that you were inspired by some of your former educators, and you have created your own goal to become a teacher that inspires other students the way your teachers did for you! You have some very good goals ahead for you, and I hope that this class will help fulfill your personal goal of becoming a successful music teacher!
All the best,
Matthew Bermudez
P. S. Do you think that you could teach me how to play the trumpet someday? :)

Thanks! I tried to make it as professional as possible but the suit was definitely a bonus. I've been a part of the salvation army my whole life, in fact one of my relatives was the general (A.K.A leader, head honcho, CEO) of the salvation army for a few years. I think like i said my very first teacher inspired me the most. he had a passion to play and he let me in the school jazz band in my first year of playing. I remember he would have donuts at the end of practice for incentive to come!
We'll have to try swapping instruments and teach each other some time!
